The Fight for $15 and a Union began in 2012 when two hundred fast-food workers walked off the job to demand $15 an hour and union rights in New York City. Today, it’s a global movement impacting wages around the world.

McDonald’s and low-wage employers everywhere make billions of dollars in profit, push costs onto taxpayers and deny responsibility for workplace abuse, while leaving workers in a struggle to survive.

The Fight for $15 and a union has already won $70 billion in raises for more than 24 million people across the country and  millions more on their way to $15 an hour – all because courageous workers came together and took action to lift up themselves and all low-wage workers. And they will keep on organizing and fighting, no matter the challenge.

Millions of people must unite into a strong, reinvigorated labor movement.

If you think it’s time for hard work to be rewarded and valued again in America, and that we need to stop corporate greed, you’re at the right place. Enter your information for ways to get involved.
