Wonderful Co. sues to halt California card-check law that made it easier to unionize farmworkers

The Wonderful Co. attempted to halt a new California state law intended to make it easier for farmworkers to unionize by allowing farmworkers to sign authorization cards at off-site meetings, without notifying an employer, rather than voting by secret ballot at a designated polling place.
