McDonald’s, Wendy’s shareholders demand companies tackle child-labor problems

A coalition of shareholders urged the boards of directors at McDonald’s and Wendy’s to adopt a zero-tolerance policy for franchised restaurants found guilty of exploiting child labor and to conduct third-party human rights risks assessments of their businesses.
